Drawing a picture
Form: Mini ouija board ("drag the planchette around the board and pick out a word that's representative of something important to you")
The Memory:
A cute little boy is making a drawing!
(Ignore the candy. This memory is after he stopped eating candy.)
He's 12. It's clear from his surroundings that he's in some kind of group living situation. And he is drawing like he's POSSESSED. This is what he draws:
He's proud of his drawing
even though he can't draw for shit, but he hides it behind some books before going out to play. And that's it. That's the whole memory.
What he learned:
- The bald man in the kimono is the one that he, in his AU, remembers as being his grandfather. He is not clear as to what their relationship is in this situation, only that his feelings toward the man are unilaterally positive.
- The guy in purple is the same guy whose body he was disposing of in his hot air balloon many years later... except that doesn't make sense, because he's pretty sure the reason he's drawing this picture at all is because he saw Grandpa kill him...?
- Which is to say, as the cute little boy is drawing his cute little picture, his cute little brain is chock full of joyfully violent thoughts. Gramps is awesome, murder is awesome. It was the coolest thing he ever saw and NEEDED to immortalize it in art.
